Praghna Centre for Research is happy to collaborate with Trendsnafrica to provide their bimonthly newsletter AFRICA4U to students, researchers and analysts whose work focuses on Africa. We are grateful to Smt. Sheila Sudhakaran, former Assistant Secretary General, FICCI and now, the Editor of AFRICA 4U and Sri. PL Joseph who publishes Trendsnafrica and AFRICA4U, and Sri. Joseph Thachil, former Professor of Economics and now, Partner Trendsnafrica, for their enthusiastic support to this initiative.
Trendsnafrica is a 24/7 news portal promoting Africa as a destination for investment, trade and technology transfer. The only digital platform exclusively dedicated to promoting African business outside the vast continent, our portal crossed milestones in outreach, eye balls, connecting businesses. Our regular viewership includes, apart from businesses across the world, policy makers, academia, ordinary people who wants to have a grasp of the vast terrains of the continent endowed with rich mineral resources, flora and fauna, composite culture etc. Started as a fortnightly e-newsletter, very soon we developed two powerful digital platforms, Africa4U & www.trendsnafrica.com. The two publications supplement and complement each other in presenting the enormous business potential of 54 countries in Africa to the outside world.

How to use this collection:
1. The table below provides three columns: The Newsletter for a specific fortnight, the link to the newsletter and a Note button for taking notes and citations.
2. Every newsletter has an editorial in the first page and news snippets with links to various events in Africa, in the second page.
3. Click on the title of any of the snippets in editorial or the second page of your interest, a new tab will open with the full article.
4. In the library table, click on the Note button. It opens a set of columns where some are prefilled (like the Newsletter number that you are reading). Other columns can be manually filled based on which item you are reading: title, author, date of publication, etc.
5. Yes, there is a column (the 1st one) where you can copy and paste specific lines or paragraphs that you would want to use in your work. Make sure that you have followed Point 3 above to do this!
5. Fill the column for the date you are accessing the newsletter.
6. Click the tab Create Citation. Your APA 6th edition style reference is auto created.
7. Now, click the Save Notes & Citations tab. A Notepad doc with all the notes that you have taken and the full citation.
We are happy to help you in your research endeavors. Best wishes.
